Sustainability Support – Internship

Main Responsibilities:
We are looking for a brilliant intern to join Diadora Sustainability team. The ideal candidate, reporting directly to the Material Manager will be in charge of the following activities:
- support the research for low impact materials and technologies suitable for footwear and clothing manufacturing
- contact manufacturers for samples and information collection
- maintain Material Library
- conduct research and collect data on various sustainability topics as needed
- contribute to the development of guidelines and policies, including in relation to materials sourcing and carbon accounting
- support in carrying out tasks for demonstrating compliance with regulatory requirements of product certification procedures (GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS standards)
Key Requirements:
- proficient level of written and spoken Italian and English
- excellent stakeholders management and engagement skills
- understanding and passion about sustainability
- basic understanding of main aspects of low carbon strategies and circular economy for materials, footwear and clothing is a plus
- excellent writing skills
- excellent research skills
- computer skills with an emphasis on the Office and Google suites and file management
