JUNIOR MERCHANDISER – Lifestyle Footwear

 Ricercamy has partnered with DIADORA, looking for a JUNIOR  MERCHANDISER to join their Merchandising Team, with the following features:


  • Develop a clear understanding of competitors’ strategies, brand positioning and pricing.
  • Collect and analyze strategic trends and key market information in order to identify and maximize future sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Manager on the definition of the collection brief that defines the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the collection (prices, function of use, trends).
  • Carry out the analysis of business performance,  seasonal bestsellers and stock levels, providing sell-in end of season analysis to help define key areas of improvement for the following season;
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Merchandising Manager Shoes & LA to define the seasonal core offer, liaising with Design Team and Product Development team to ensure consistency throughout the different lines as well as a proper and quick response to commercial needs;
  • Organize together with the Product Development and Design Team the seasonal product briefing to Markets and Sales;
  • Support Markets during the buying campaign providing all necessary information regarding collection structure and core offer proposal;
  • Contribute to cope specific strategic accounts’ product needs with special make up.
  • Support the Merchandising manager to provide accurate forecast for the category;
  • Responsible to present product lines to sales force and key accounts;
  • Responsible to do data entry for line plans and maintain updated info in ERP;
  • Responsible to ensure show room set up for pre line and sales meetings;
  • Responsible to create product catalogues which highlight seasonal stories;
  • Responsible to implement and refresh dashboards to monitor merchandising KPIs.


  • Product sensitivity;
  • Solid analytical skills;
  •  Knowledge of global market trends, with an understanding of the lifestyles market;
  • Analytical and numerical skills (campaign reporting, benchmark analysis, ad-hoc analysis);
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Good Relational Skills;
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and PP;
  • At least 2  years of experience in Merchandising or similar role (in fashion industry) is mandatory;
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
