For an important apparel company in Treviso, Ricercamy is searching for a
Merchandiser Specialist – Apparel
The person will be placed in the merchandising department and will report to the Merchandising Manager Utility.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Build line plans accordingly to category strategic direction and business expectations based on brand key stories and sell out analysis
- Build range which reflects ongoing trends based on product, market and consumer insights.
- Deliver profitability at gross margin level through accurate pricing and product mix
- Provide accurate forecasts for the category
- Partnering with Product and OPS Dept. during the collection’s development according to price positioning and target cost
- Identify and flow compelling assortments by distribution channel and tier:
- Contribute to cope specific strategic accounts’ product needs with special make up.
- Responsible to present product lines to sales force and key accounts.
- Responsible to do data entry for line plans and maintain updated info in ERP.
- Responsible to ensure show room set up for pre line and sales meetings.
- Responsible to create with Mktg Dept. product catalogues which highlight seasonal stories.
- Responsible to implement and refresh dashboards to monitor merchandising KPIs.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s Economics degree or higher qualification
- Prior experience with merchandising collection planning, sales forecasting and working to budgets
- Business acumen and analytical skills
- Leadership skills and flexibility o n wor king in a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential
- Organized and process-orientated in a multitasking working environment
- Engaging presentation style
- Consumer focused product taste and passion for sport
- Computer skills including advanced Excel and Power Point
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
