Introducing the first ever Scapa to be finished in Rum Barrels! This Distillery Reserve Collection 12 year old is the most recent expression in the Cask Finished series.
The youngest spirit was distilled on the 30th of May 2013 then initially matured in American oak barrels before finishing in a rum barrel, cask no. #54. Bottling was on the 27th of August 2025 at a cask strength of 51.7% abv. The rum barrel has given this whisky a great honeyed and floral taste which balances beautifully its salty coastal character.
An excellent choice for collectors and flavour explorers alike, this whisky offers something genuinely new from a revered distillery.
