The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard has a Graves-like bouquet of darker currants, smoked tobacco, cold fireplace, and chocolate. This carries to a full-bodied Cabernet that has a great mid-palate, plenty of ripe tannins, and a great finish. This valley floor site always yields a darker, classic style of Cabernet, and this beauty will benefit from short-term cellaring and keep for 15-20 years.

This is an aromatic red , showing currant bush, pine needles, dark fruit and spices. Some blue flowers, too. Full body with layers of fine-grained tannins and a juicy, savory-fruit core. Lots of crushed-stone and tile undertones to the flavor. Long and even. Try in 2023.
