Los Vecinos del Campo Ensamble No. 1 is a small-batch mezcal from the Valles Centrales region of Oaxaca. Crafted by a collective of 10 master mezcaleros, it blends 90% maguey Espadin with 5% each of maguey Barril and Madrecuishe. This mezcal offers a unique bouquet of chamomile, dill pickle, and roasted agave, complemented by tasting notes of black pepper, honey, and soy sauce. It is a project led by Carmen Villarreal of Casa San Matias, in collaboration with Sazerac.
