This balanced and delicious white has aromas of sliced apples, fresh herbs and a hint of green pears. Medium-bodied with fresh acidity. Textured, with volume and energy on the palate and a crunchy, flavorful finish of excellent length.

The delicate tropical fruit aromas (a proof of ripe Sauvignon grapes) and clean mineral and fruity palate testify to La Cote des Monts Damnes' pedigree as an exceptional wine from one of the finest slopes in the Sancerre appellation. A nose of tropical fruit and passion fruit with citrus fruits. A very well balanced palate bursting with honey, grapefruit and a fresh citrus finish. A very elegant beauty.

Vineyard Notes

The vines are grown on the famous Côte des Monts Damnés, which has been cultivated since the 10th century. Its south-facing Kimmeridgian marls terroir is made of thousands of small commashaped oyster shells (ostrea virgula). Yields are deliberately low, with
high-density cultivation and grass between the rows.
