From the acclaimed GlenAllachie Distillery in Speyside, the 15 Year expression showcases master distiller Billy Walker's mastery of cask selection and blending. Walker acquired the distillery in 2017 and immediately set about unlocking its potential, drawing on exceptional sherry and oak casks to craft whiskies of remarkable depth and character.
Matured for 15 years in a blend of Pedro Ximénez sherry, Oloroso sherry, virgin oak, and ex-bourbon casks, this single malt strikes a beautiful balance between rich fruit and warming spice. On the nose, warm toffee, dark plum, and sweet raisin mingle with floral notes and a hint of clove. The palate is lush and full-bodied — layers of dried fruit, vanilla, molasses, and roasted nuts unfold with each sip, supported by a pleasant oakiness. The finish is long and warming with lingering sweetness.
