Asco P302 Commercial Pressurestat (30A)

The Asco (formerly Sirai) commercial pressurestat, model #P302-6, for 110-120V/220-240V equipment. This is the part that reads boiler steam pressure through an internal diaphragm and switches the heating element on and off to hold your set pressure, by far the most common pressurestat used across the industry, both historically and today.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • CE-SEV-ASE-UL approved
  • ISO 228 G connection, 1/4" male, for 4 x 6mm pipe
  • Adjustable range: 0.5-1.4 bar
  • Fixed differential: 0.15 (0.06) bar
  • Max fluid temperature: 140°C
  • Max contact load: 220V, 7kW (30A)

COMPATIBILITY

  • Fits: cross-referenced as an OEM match or direct equivalent across dozens of commercial brands, including Astoria CMA, Bezzera, Brasilia, La Cimbali, Faema, Fiorenzato, Gaggia, Grimac, La Marzocco, Nuova Simonelli, Rancilio, San Marco, Sanremo, La Spaziale, Victoria Arduino, and Wega
  • Replaces: Asco/Sirai P302-6

INSTALLATION

This involves electrical wiring and boiler pressure calibration, so it should be installed and calibrated by a qualified coffee technician.

PRO TIPS

  • European machines spec fittings in British Standard Pipe (BSP), which is measured by the male thread's inside diameter, not the outside, a 1/4" male BSP fitting actually measures about 16mm (1/2") across the outside. Measuring the outside of the fitting is the most common way people order the wrong size.
  • Full factory specifications are available on the manufacturer's spec sheet if you need exact switching curves for a commercial installation.
