Commercial Description:
“Okarakuchi” means extremely dry or super dry. Very dry unpasteurized, unfiltered (muroka) Junmai sake from 100% Yamadanishiki rice polished down to 60%. This genshu is full-bodied with intense flavors, strong alcohol, and high acidity that altogether offer a deliciously balanced sake that’s very enjoyable to drink at room temperature or chilled. Made by sixth-generation owner and toji (sake maker), Hiroaki Oku, this tiny brewery in Osaka offers true artisanal sake at its best!
