“Pale to medium ruby-garnet in the glass, the 2022 Grenache Pesenti Vineyard is expressive, complex and perfumed. It opens with a detailed and complex nose of licorice, dried flowers, sage and juniper that float above loads of ripe but balanced raspberry and strawberry fruit at the core. The medium-bodied palate is lacy and polished, offering a clean spine of acidity that intermingles with dusty, sturdy tannins. OVERVIEW: "The Turley ‘Pesenti Vineyard’ Grenache, a certified organic estate wine, hails from a vineyard planted in the 1920s on ancient marine calcareous soils in Paso Robles. The vines are head-trained and dry-farmed, but it’s the unique soil that plays the most crucial role in distinguishing this vineyard.  The Grenache is deep and richly fruited, exuding fragrances of dark red raspberry and rosebud, alongside the signature Pesenti minerality and herbs.
