Trinchero Napa Valley Forte Napa Valley Red Blend 2015 - This wine is sustainably sourced from several of our prime estate vineyards throughout the Napa Valley. In crafting this blend, we hand select barrels of Malbec from both our Haystack Vineyard in Atlas Peak and Cloud’s Nest Vineyard in Mount Veeder, two high-elevation regions in Napa Valley. The Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot come from our Central Park West Vineyard in St. Helena and the Merlot comes from Vera’s Vineyard in South Napa.

Dense ruby purple in color, this wine reveals abundant aromas of huckleberry compote, creamy vanilla and espresso. This wine is bold on the palate with velvety tannins that are fuzzy like a peach’s skin. Intense flavors of ripe black fruits and sweet baking spice are complemented with hints of lavender and graphite. The wine has a long finish with firm, yet comforting tannins. Blended with other Bordeaux varietals, the Malbec piece of this blend makes Forte a very expressive, extracted, unique new-world style wine.
