The Decade I release represents the first era of Bond on screen — the 1960s and Sean Connery’s debut as the character. The packaging features exclusive artwork from the Bond archives: the Little Nellie combat sequence storyboard from You Only Live Twice, the Interior Fort Knox Set Concept and Laser Room set design from Goldfinger, and the dummy jet pack worn by Bond. The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team selected casks to reflect the fresh, vibrant, and pioneering character of the 1960s decade, with the lemon and lime freshness representing the innovative spirit of the era’s Bond adventures.
