The whiskey spent nine years in a traditional sherry butt before nearly seven further years in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. The 750ml bottle carries release-specific California, age, cask, and strength details.

The release profile describes plum, bramble fruit, raisins, milk chocolate, syrup, and vanilla pod on the nose. Stewed dark fruit, raspberry, blackcurrant, toffee, and spice follow on the palate, with a long, coating finish that retains fruit, sweetness, and subtle spice.
