Stolpman's Ballard Canyon Sauvignon Blanc has been grown on the estate's limestone soils since 1999, with the first bottling released from the 2008 vintage. Today the estate farms 10 acres of Sauvignon Blanc, supplemented by neighboring low-yielding sites — never exceeding four tons per acre, where the variety develops aromatic nuance and mid-palate texture while remaining lively and crisp.

The 2025 vintage was shaped by a dry winter with late spring precipitation that pushed dormancy late, followed by a cool summer and unusually long hang-time into October. The result is a wine of striking complexity — a powerhouse of botanicals ranging from tropical passion fruit and aromatic perfume to savory, mineral, woody depth. Precise and clean on the palate with a cushioned roundness from the low-yielding vines. Remarkable for a wine just four months in barrel and one month in bottle at the time of writing.
