We took this special smoky expression out of our whisky vault in celebration of our recent wins at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This smoky number won a Gold medal, but the real gold is in the bottle.
A New World take on an old classic, our Peated Finish is a single malt whisky aged in red wine barrels and finished in peated barrels straight off the rugged coast of Islay, Scotland. Melded with Starward's quintessential tropical notes and the smoky, earthy flavors from Islay’s coastal peat, expect a whisky that's unlike any other.
That's why it won a Gold medal at the recent 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Tasting Notes:
- Color: Auburn
- Nose: Bright tropical fruits, toasted oak followed by a hint of sweet peat.
- Palate: Ripe red fruits, subtle peat smoke, yellow peach and mocha.
- Finish: Palate slowly dries from the oak and has very long peated finish
