Sazerac Mister Sam Tribute Whisky is named in honor of Samuel Bronfman, a Canadian businessman and philanthropist who founded Distillers Corporation Limited. Master blender Drew Mayville was mentored by Seagram Master Blender Art Dawe, a man who worked directly with Sam Bronfman and passed on his love and passion for whiskey making. The tribute whiskey is a limited edition blend of the finest Sazerac and American Whiskey. Through intense experimentation, Mayville created the perfect blend. Later bottled at their Old Montreal Distillery in Montreal, Quebec. The intense aromas are of dark fruits, toasted oak, tobacco, dark cherries and toasted pecans. The palate is full-bodied with flavors of brown sugar, apples, cereals, and soft hints of vanilla, citrus and toffee. The finish is deep and flavorful, with notes of oak, cherry, citrus and maple.
