Salted nuts, toffee and brittle are joined by hints of tar, honey and candied almond. The medium-bodied palate is very sweet but remains crunchy and fresh. Blending Ports aged between 40 and 80 years gives it remarkable depth and complexity.

This inaugural 50-year-old Tawny release is dense, intense and immensely concentrated. Wood and old-gold flavors add nuance without distracting from its power. It is fully mature and ready to enjoy now.

Jasmine leads a complex range of singed white peach, bitter almond, hazelnut husk, dried clementine and green fig. Superfine acidity carries the flavors through an exceptionally long finish that leans toward the dry side. Delicate sweetness allows the wine’s breadth and detail to unfold without heaviness.

This 50-year-old field blend emphasizes a drier, sterner style with more power than the producer’s younger Tawnies. It remains elegant and lively while showing brandy-like intensity, dark color, concentration and layered nuance. Its firm finish makes it especially well suited to cheese and other savory pairings.
