The Troupis family established their modern winery in 2010 in the Fteri (“fern”) region in the heart of Mantinia at 700 m elevation. With a total of nearly 70 acres under vine, they remain focused on using modern technology to best showcase the traditional grapes of the area.
‘Thunder’ is made from the pink-skinned moschofilero grape, fermented in stainless steel, and the result is a light-hearted, liter-full of fun! Exuberantly aromatic, its delectable notes of honeysuckle, strawberry Starburst, peach, lychee, bubblegum, and spice practically leap from the glass onto your palate! This medium-bodied rosé offers generous fruit, but finishes totally dry and refreshing.
