• Single blended aged rum produced by Foursquare Distillery in Saint Philip, Barbados • Blend of double retort copper pot still and twin column Coffey still rums • Distilled from molasses by Master Distiller & Master Blender, Richard Seale • Molasses is close-top fermented 44–48 hours • Aged 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels entirely in Barbados • Inviting aromas of toasted coconut, nutmeg, and milk chocolate precede a palate which echoes the nose with the addition banana chips, vanilla, and papaya; brown butter, guava, and toasted hazelnut round out the finish • No added sugar, coloring, or other additives • 46% ABV 12 years of tropical aging results in a well-balanced spirit that shows maturity beyond its age.
