Commercial Description:
We are a family business dedicated to the production of organic apples and Galician cider, made with native varieties. It is a sustainable business project located in Ribela, Concello de A Estrada, Pontevedra, immersed in a fully rural environment.
Cider has been produced in Galicia since the Iron Age. Only in certain scattered places has this tradition been maintained. In the region of A Estrada, between the valleys and banks of the Ulla, Umia and Liñares rivers, the native apples have remained until today.
We use varieties of local and ancestral apples from our own organic crops. Varieties such as Rabiosa, Raida, Marafouza, Freixerana or Pimienta are part of that heritage of up to four hundred different varieties typical of Galicia.
