Louis XIII’s identity is built on cru selection and an archival cellar. Eaux‑de‑vie come from Grande Champagne, a chalky terroir that yields fine, floral spirits with exceptional aging potential. The house ages these eaux‑de‑vie in thin‑walled Limousin oak tierçons, a rare large cask form that encourages gentle oxidation and long, subtle wood influence rather than aggressive new‑oak tannin.
