Description

WINE OVERVIEWA medium-bodied Rose9 made using the Charmat Method that is perfect alone or paired with food.TASTING NOTESMalbec seems an unlikely hero for a sparkling wine grape, but when you want your rose9 to show some real color and character, then Malbec's your man. Crisp and dry with lovely strawberry, rhubarb flavors and aromas. Just a hint of tannin structure, floral spice, and an amazing elegant finish rounds out the mouth. It speaks of the rich Malbec grape, but never loses its light, refreshing nature. It will give you a good reason to drink sparkling wine with your main course!FOOD PAIRINGTry with seared ahi tuna, roasted turkey or fresh berries. This product is imported by Vine Connections - the leading South American fine wine importer in the US. Our mission is to expand your view of the world through great wine, sake & spirits.

Producer Description

Having learned from his father Jose who made wine for over 50 years, Pepe crafts some of Mendoza's most sought after limited-production, boutique sparkling wines. The Reginatos have always had a ritual of toasting not only all of life's important events, but also the small joys of everyday life. Unlike other "factory" sparkling wine producers in Mendoza, the Reginatos personally manage the whole process themselves, from grape to bottle. They manage the vineyards, select the grapes, harvest at the optimal time, make the base wine, and then do secondary fermentation at their own winery. They produce both Charmat and "Metodo Tradicional" (Champenoise) sparkling wines, and if you ever get a chance to meet Pepe, you'll see what kind of hand muscles you can develop after years of hand-riddling bottles.
