OVERVIEW: "Special Reserve is our tribute to the cool climate, hillside Pinot Noir on the Sonoma Coast. Each barrel in our cellar is a unique creation, and we treat them as such. Each one represents a specific section or clone in a unique vineyard and also a unique fermentation. We do everything in very small lots and each fermentation is different. In 2021 we had 34 different Pinot ferments for example. So this "Special Reserve" is really almost like a painting project where we selected a small subset of barrels to paint a very particular picture of Sonoma Coast. We love it. We hope you do too."
