This Imperial Mocha-Marshmallow Stout is a blend of liquid aged from 12 to 24 months in a medley of bourbon barrels. It was conditioned on an exclusive blend of coffee beans roasted by Onyx Coffee Lab for a complex foundation of chocolate brownie and burnt sugar undertones.

(1) Fremont Bourbon Barrel Aged B Bomb Cinnamon Coconut (2021)

Winter Ale |  13% ABV 

This year’s release of B-Bomb is aged in 8–12-year-old American Oak bourbon barrels and is a blend of 9, 12, and 24-month old barrel-aged Winter Ale. This special edition adds cinnamon and toasted coconut to complement the oak, cacao, leather, toffee, and dark coffee notes achieved from its extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note, and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure. Please do enjoy this unique barrel-aged ale today but know that Cinnamon Coconut B-Bomb will age gracefully for years to come. Don’t Be Afraid To Be Abominable.

Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Crystal-120, Munich, Roast Barley, Carafa-2, and Chocolate malts with Columbus, Willamette, and US Goldings hops with cinnamon and coconut.

Color: Dark black, opaque
Aroma: Coconut and cinnamon up front, followed with sweet aromatics of molasses, vanilla, chocolate and brown sugar. Whiskey, oak and graham cracker are present in the background
Flavor: Highly sweet, with slight bitterness and lingering sweetness. Full body with smooth carbonation, a definite alcohol warmth, slight spice and mouthwatering.

The Explorer is a huge imperial stout fermented and aged in Missouri oak. We then finished it on Ancho chiles, Madagascar vanilla beans, coconut, Klatch coffee and cocoa nibs. 

(1) Jackie O's Bourbon Barrel Dark Apparition

Stout - Russian Imperial | 12.5% ABV

Our signature Russian Imperial Stout, aged in bourbon barrels for one year. Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace barrels created the bulk of this year’s blend. With big notes of almond, vanilla, and hints of toasted marshmallow. Year after year, Dark Apparition continues to surprise and inspire us. This batch is a touch sweeter with a bit more body and a comforting warmth.

(1) Jackie O's Bourbon Barrel Vanilla & Coffee Bean Dark Apparition

Stout - Russian Imperial | 12.5% ABV

The same blend of barrels (Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace) as the base BBDA. A small portion was conditioned on vanilla beans for five days and was then blended with Peruvian coffee infused BBDA. This year’s blend presents very coffee forward on the nose. The vanilla takes center stage on the palate. The blend of the base beer and the adjuncts take this beer to yet another level. The vanilla character makes this blend seem much sweeter and dessert-like. The best bottle of the release, in our humble opinion.
