R. Renaudin Brut Reserve Champagne

This Grower champagne is based on the 2010 vintage. The nose shows yeast, pastry, lemon oil, light stone fruits, nectarines, & some spice. The palate is moderate in weight with stone fruits, lemon oil, pastry, hazelnut, apricot & nectarines to round out the this delicious Chardonnay. 

Thanks to its structure, vineyards, and production capacity, the Domaine des Conardins is among the best middle-sized properties (after the large well-known Champagne houses), and seeks to satisfy its customers, who are both friends and connoisseurs, by the quality of its products. The holdings are all in the villages of Moussy and Pierry, just south of Epernay and just above the start of the Cote des Blancs. Their spacious buildings are testimony to the scale of their former operations. Now they are content to sell off the majority of their grapes to other houses while retaining the best for themselves, all of which are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Production is now down to a scant 50,000 bottles a year, and they show no hurry to sell anything!
