PTFE Sealing Gasket for 1/2" Fittings, Multi-Brand Fit

INSTALLATION

Standard fitting reseal, hand-tight plus a wrench quarter-turn is typically enough; PTFE doesn't need the extra crush that rubber gaskets do.

PRO TIPS

• Because PTFE doesn't compress the way rubber does, over-tightening won't get you a better seal, it just deforms the gasket. If a fitting is still weeping after snugging it down, the sealing faces themselves are likely nicked or out of round, not the gasket.
