Our Barbera grapes come from one of the most highly sought after vineyards in California. Shake Ridge Ranch is located in the Sierra Foothills along a ridge 1,650–1,810 feet above sea level. Renowned grower, Ann Kraemer is one of the most highly respected figures in the wine world. In short order, this vineyard has proven to be a true star.
Tasting Notes: Ever changing layers of fruits, spices and herbs are the back drop to this multi faceted Old World style Barbera with flavors of dark plum, licorice, black mission fig and a hint of rhubarb. A True treasure.
