Wet stone minerality, racy acidity, and toasty complexity." Importer NotesThis cuvée is 100 percent pinot blanc from the Val Colas Robin vineyard in Polisot. With the limited planting, generally there are only 4,000 bottles per year released. As to the estate at large: today Roland Piollot, his wife, Dominique, and their daughter, Jeanne, produce Champagnes from their 8.5 hectares of land. Their plantings are predominantly Pinot Noir in and around the town of Polisot. Roland has been farming since 1986, and the estate has been 100 percent organic since 2014. In the last few years they have competed certification with Demeter. (This cuvee was begun before that certification was completed, so doesn't have that notation on the label.) Michael Kennel, D&M
