The fruit shows balance between depth and restraint.

93 Decanter Pine Ridge’s Napa Cabernet in 2023 is a pleasant wine that reveals blackberry and raspberry fruit alongside cola nut and mild Indian spices. These elements layer gracefully across the medium-bodied palate atop elongated black-tea tannins. Mocha and dried sage resonate on the finish.

Blended from five different AVAs in Napa Valley and aged in a combination of French and American oak (just 15%), it offers up attractive scents of mixed red and black cherries accented by vanilla and mossy oak. It's unabashedly full-bodied, expansive, supple and creamy but is balanced on the finish by soft tannins and bright acids.
