Peloton de la Muerte Espadin is a mezcal that wears its soul on its sleeve, crafted from the agave espadin plant that has long defined the heart of traditional mezcal production. Bold, smoky, and unmistakably artisanal, this expression carries the spirit of Oaxacan craft in every pour.

44% alc - 750mL

Made from mature espadin agave, Peloton de la Muerte follows time-honored mezcal production methods rooted in the highlands of Oaxaca. The agave hearts are slow-roasted in earthen pit ovens, then crushed, fermented naturally, and twice distilled to coax out the layered complexity that has made this brand a favorite among mezcal enthusiasts worldwide.

  • Nose: Inviting aromas of roasted agave, wood smoke, and a whisper of dried fruit with earthy mineral undertones
  • Palate: Rich and full-bodied with notes of charred oak, cooked agave, citrus peel, and a subtle herbal character
  • Finish: Long and warming with lingering smoke, toasted spice, and a clean, dry agave sweetness

Peloton de la Muerte Espadin shines in a Mezcal Negroni, where its smoky depth plays beautifully against bitter vermouth and sweet liqueur, or sipped alongside a simple Mezcal Paloma to let the citrus brightness lift its natural earthiness.

Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube to open up its complexity. Peloton de la Muerte Espadin Mezcal is crafted from espadin agave in the mezcal-producing heartland of Oaxaca, Mexico.
