TASTING NOTES: by Brian Beyke
- Nose: Maple, honey, vanilla bean, brown sugar syrup, soft mint, rainbow sherbet, oak. This nose is balanced and inviting, decadent and leaning more toward bourbon than rye.
- Palate: The palate is rich and custardy all the way through. Sure it has a myriad of baking spices throughout, but the highlight here is that coating mouthfeel that draws you in and that tingling spice that hangs out through the chew.
- Finish: The finish is kissed with leather and oak but beckons back to allspice and black pepper before a toasted maple longer linger.
