On the nose, Patron's El Alto Tequila opens with a warm, layered sweetness that hints of its age than raw agave notes. Dried fig, candied orange peel, toasted almond, and a gentle leather note blend, while a soft veil of vanilla and baking spice rises. There is a subtle tobacco and dark chocolate that round out the deeper register, and beneath it all the agave remains present as a refined, caramelized core rather than a green, grassy shout.
