• Oro y Fierro – Kumquat Liqueur by Brucato Spirits based in San Francisco, California.

• ABV / Proof: 40% ABV—equivalent to 80 proof.

• Made with California‑grown Nagami kumquats (used peel and all, sliced and dried in-house) combined with dried local orange peels, all macerated in unaged grape brandy.

• The kumquats and orange peels are cold‑macerated in stainless steel for about two weeks, then the infusion rests for approximately six weeks before being sweetened with cane sugar and brought to proof.

Tasting Notes 

• Aroma (Nose): Bright and aromatic, with fresh kumquat and orange peel nuances some describe notes reminiscent of Orangina soda or orange marmalade.

• Palate: Juicy citrus upfront, with a balance of sweetness and bitter pith. Subtle floral and herbal spices round it out.

• Finish: Dry, bright, and lingering, with a refreshing amaro‑like complexity.
