The second installment of Cathead Distillery's Tintype Series features a tintype portrait of soul and blues guitarist Hermon Hitson, shot by Music Maker Foundation founder Timothy Duffy. An extremely limited bottling drawn from as few as 20 barrels of 9-year MGP-distilled high-rye bourbon (75/21/4), matured in Jackson, Mississippi and bottled cask strength, uncut and unfiltered. Expect sweet corn, butterscotch, and toasted walnut on the nose, a rich, buttery palate of dried fig, brown sugar, and creamy vanilla, and a long finish of dark chocolate and cinnamon.
