Lodi has long been the go-to California destination for the best Zinfandel. Lately the area has been turning up with a wider range of wines that will knock your socks off.
Which brings us to the Oak Farm Tievoli Cabernet. Oak Farm is a beautiful vineyard in Lodi run by the Panella family. For the last 15 years they have been creating some amazing wines that range from juicy Zinfandel to a beautifully crisp Albariño. And their Tievoli cab is a beautiful Bordeaux style blend that would be perfect for a picnic or a game night!
This wine is bursting on the nose with black currants and cherries. It’s got great oak and vanilla with a velvety finish that will have you coming back for another bottle.
I paired it with a burger, but this would go great with some lamb chops or even some carnitas tacos. However you choose to enjoy, I know the Tievoli is about to become your new favorite. Cheers!
