This is made entirely up of Pinot Noir, and as a demi sec has a good amount of residual sugar (32+ grams per liter). This dosage makes it the ideal pairing match for pastry based desserts and is closer to the historical sweetness of Champagne. The nose opens with light baked apple, some apricots and nectarines with a bit of spice. The palate is just shy of moderate with sweetness and a flavor set of soft citrus, baked apples, and apricot galette.
