Mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash of Petit Verdot, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Collector's Reserve has a deep garnet-purple color and features notions of baked redcurrants, blackberry preserves, blackcurrant pastilles and grilled meats plus wafts of fried herbs, truffles and tar. Full-bodied, very firm and grainy, it has just enough freshness and a savory, chewy finish.

Distinct flavors connect this classically flawless Cabernet Sauvignon with its birthplace; its sense of place is unmistakable. Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels from select artisan cooperages. Decanting is suggested, but never mandatory. Enjoy now, or cellar for two decades or more.
