Description
The Dutton Ranch is a collection of 80 vineyards and over 1200 acres. Maritana Vineyards sources the original planting at Shop Block 1967 and the most highly prized Hansen Hill. They are superb Chardonnay growers. This is the cornerstone of the “La Rivière” Russian River Valley Chardonnay cuvée.
In the glass are aromas of pineapple, baked apple, vanilla, a bit of toasted oak and baking spices. The palate is full bodied but has a beautiful texture, lovely weight, and a creamy core. The acidity is tightly woven throughout giving a delicious mouth-feel and leading to a long finish. This wonderfully made Chardonnay from Maritana La Riviere Russian River will age beautifully but is so delicious to drink now so why wait!
