The Macallan 1824 Series Amber edition is a blend of American and European oaks, but Amber comes with a higher proportion of 1st fill casks, giving it a darker rich color. Expect citrus, vanilla, cinnamon, and raisins on the nose. With green apples, ginger, and subtle oak on the palate, followed by a slightly dry medium finish of sweet cereal. Bottled at 80 proof.
