Located near the village of Pernand-Vergelesses, the Clos de la Croix de Pierre is a historic vineyard within the En Caradeux Premier Cru, named for the large stone cross at its entrance. This east-facing site is characterized by thin, stony limestone soils that face the legendary hill of Corton, producing a wine with remarkable mineral tension. The nose is highly expressive, offering a cool-climate perfume of wild strawberries and sour cherries laced with hints of violets and white pepper. On the palate, it is vibrant and medium-bodied, delivering a concentrated core of racy red fruit and citrus zest that flows into a polished, limestone-driven finish with persistent notes of earth and forest floor.
