A very popular small batch Linkwood 100 Proof Edition #72 here. This 14 year old release by Signatory Vintage was distilled in 2011 then aged in a combination of first fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads and refill hogsheads. Bottling was in January 2026 at Imperial proof strength of 57.1% abv.
The quality of this Speysider is every bit as good as previous Signatory Linkwood releases. Showcasing how well the distillery’s fruity, floral and refined malt character integrates with time in Oloroso sherry hogsheads. This is a bold whisky with rich dried fruit sweetness, warming pepper spice and toasted almonds notes. As always the whisky is un chill-filtered with no added colour.
