Winemaker Notes

The Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful ruby-black color with a ruby red rim. Bright fruit aromas of fresh blackberry, black cherry, and boysenberry along with hints of violets, leather, and toasted oak fill the glass. On the palate, this elegant, medium-bodied Cabernet is filled with lush black cherry and pomegranate flavors complemented by juicy acidity along with notes of cracked black pepper, dried black tea leaves and a touch of vanilla that leads to a long velvety finish.

This tried-and-true Cabernet has been a dinner table staple for more than 40 years. A rich ruby hue fills the glass along with aromas of fresh vanilla, lush red fruit and herbaceous nuances. On the palate, bright cherry notes mingle with warm cocoa and sweet oak. The finish is unbelievably smooth with soft, gorgeous tannins.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Petite Sirah.

Winery Notes

Varietally on target, reliable year after year, Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Cuvee consistently over-deliver value wines of outstanding quality. The Hope family has been making Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon since 1990. In 1996, when the Hopes established Treana Winery, the Liberty School brand officially became part of Hope Family Wines. Liberty School wines are made in a traditional style. Fruit driven, they are crafted to reflect true varietal character. The wines are barrel-aged, employing very little new oak. Oak is used as a building component rather than a flavoring agent.

A big brand, made by a small, close family, Liberty School is the home of delicious wines that are easy to enjoy.
