The NV Brut Les Visions Blanc de Blancs Chouilly Grand Cru, chiefly based on the 2020 vintage, opens with a lovely veil of smoky reduction that soon verges into chalky creaminess, referencing both polenta and lemon balm. The palate puts lemon and lemon balm to the fore against a smooth backdrop of chalky creaminess, enlivened by frothy energetic mousse that swirls all this sunny energy and brightness. It finishes on a beautifully salty note. Dosage is 7 grams per liter. Disgorged: June 2023.

 With its vines in Chouilly, the first village in the Côte des Blancs, this is a textured, mineral-driven Champagne. Its grapefruit aroma and fresh lemon and kiwi flavors give a crisp character to the wine. The bottling will be even better from 2025.
