Laphroaig Society Cask No: 29.298 enjoyed a secondary maturation in an ex-Oloroso hogshead.
Distilled on the 15th of October this special peated spirit was firstly aged in ex-bourbon hogshead before resting in ex-Oloroso. Drawn at a great cask strength of 58.3% abv.
A rich peated 11 year old whisky having flavours akin to ’smoked cheese, salami and creosote that merge into a sweet, medicinal palate with burnt rosemary, charcoal cream and a smoky, tangy finish.’
