The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful dark garnet color and is a classic Napa Valley Cabernet built around a rich and supple core of dark cherry, cassis and dried berries. Full bodied, the wine displays richness, depth of fruit, and a lingering finish with notes of dark chocolate and cedar.

Krutz Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the best of what Napa Valley has to offer.  With fruit from vineyard sites spanning a plethora of altitudes throughout Napa, this complex Cabernet Sauvignon is known for its opulence, concentration, and impeccable balance. It opens with the intense sensation of wild bramble fruit on the nose followed up with dark roasted coffee, sassafras, and leather. The palate shows a full-bodied mouthfeel, with long, silky tannins supporting layers of dried fruit, ganache, and hardwood charcoal. A nuanced aging program in 50% new French oak brings together the menagerie of flavors with a warming vanilla backbone.
