Toast accompanies inviting apple and citrus aromas in this latest edition of the iconic Champagne. The palate is rich and intense, poised between mature complexity and ripe white fruit. Beautiful balance makes it ready to drink while retaining impressive composure.

Dried citrus, lemon curd and dried apple are layered with spice, dried flowers and subtle brioche. The texture is polished and caressing, supported by steady, refreshing acidity and a firm vertical shape. Ground spice notes carry through a structured, persistent finish.

This edition blends 146 wines from 11 vintages spanning 1998 through 2016. Stollen, tangerine, jasmine, lime blossom and oyster shell aromas lead into white fig and walnut skin. Finely etched acidity gives the palate a silk-like texture and an exceptionally lively finish.

Based on the 2016 vintage and incorporating 11 vintages in total, this edition opens with white fruit, beeswax, marzipan, hazelnut, dried herb and floral notes. The medium- to full-bodied palate is rich and concentrated, with an enveloping, layered texture. Fresh mineral balance frames the finish and supports another five to ten years of development.
