This single grain Japanese whisky was matured for seven years in Spanish sherry barrels, resulting in a rich, smooth, and fruity finish, accompanied by a dark amber hue.
Toyonaga Distillery is deeply connected to the terroir of Kumamoto Prefecture since its inception. The brewer works hand in hand with local contract farmers to source organic ingredients, imbuing the whisky with the region's essence.
The name "Kangakoi" represents a true Samurai adorned in ceremonial armor. In Japan, only those with a pure spirit and flawless combat skills are deemed worthy to wear the traditional Samurai armor. To achieve the same level of excellence and perfection, Kangakoi Whisky is aged for seven years in sherry barrels.
