Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 22 months in new French oak, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Jax Estate Block 3 reveals a great purple/violet color to the rim and a perfumed nose of cassis, blue and black fruits, and chocolate intermixed with meaty notes, sage, and sappy herbs. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it shows integrated oak, good acidity, and impeccable balance. Best enjoyed over the coming 10-12 years.

JAX Vineyard's Block 3 has always produced the best fruit of our JAX Estate in northern Calistoga. This is an intense expression of our unique red rock, alluvial soil at the base of Mount Saint Helena. Making it's debut in the 2013 vintage, this wine has repeatedly scored 94 to 97pts from numerous critics. This wine will be a treasure to anyones private cellar.
