Jameson Blender's Dog is the blender's expression in the Whiskey Makers Series — a superbly balanced, complex Irish whiskey that celebrates the art of marrying whiskeys, delivering butterscotch sweetness with a prickle of spice, tannins, and a full nose of citrus, mango, kiwi, pineapple, figs, dates, and the walnut character that comes from Spanish sherry butts and seasoned American barrels.

The Blender's Dog draws its name from the traditional role of the master blender's palate-cleansing tool — a black Labrador named after the practice of eating dry bread or crackers between samples to reset the senses. In the Whiskey Makers Series, it represents the blender's contribution: the deliberate selection and marriage of whiskeys from different cask types, distillation styles, and maturation levels to produce a harmonious final expression with more complexity than any single component could achieve. Best served with no ice and just a few drops of water to open the aromas — two to three swirls of the glass before the first sip allows the full nose to develop.
